The first, second or third place that you hold in online Texas holdem is naturally going to hold some considerable difference in the prize pool. Naturally, we target to make the first place always, but a second or third place is still better than having nothing after playing. A good playing methodology would be to fold hands until we come across a truly playable hand. There is no point in playing a hand without having anything that is worth waiting at least a flop draw.
Some hands should be paid for to see for possible improvement in the flop draw, whereas some hands should be folded right in the pre-flop! Do not feel bad to fold even 25 hands in a row. This usually happens to many. Be patient to wait to see that which is really worth. Folding of worthless hands is going to save you a lot of money loss. Of course, you loose a lot of time in waiting, but the waiting will definitely pay off if you are disciplining yourself to play the right hand.
