One of the common experiences of many players in holdem poker is to be holding just small stakes that will not be enough for later tactics like bluffing, but truly in such cases small ball betting can be employed in the play in an attempt to stretching the value of every chip in hand.  In such cases a lot of systematic thinking and systematic approach to the game is crucial.
